Ford F-Series and has been for decades. Some folks may think you can add Shi*rolet + GMC sales together in order to surpass Ford. WRONG. I've been a paralegal for 23 years and have an economics degree, I know how many various corporate structures work. First of all could you be that much of a simpleton to think that if GM could claim sales leadership it wouldn't? GM lawyers get paid gobs of money and know that if they tried to claim they are #1, they would soon be writing a HUGE check to Ford. You see GMC and Shi*rolet are 2 entirely different legal entities. As
such, their sales figures are separate. Now if GM wants to combine Shi*rolet + GMC truck sales as one legal entitiy(nameplate), that would change things. Unless and until they do that Ford for decades has been the truck(and other vehicles too) sales leader. In fact, FORD F-series has been the VEHICLE(ALL vehicles) sales leader since 1982, when Ronald Reagan was president. Additionally, FORD has been the best selling TRUCK since 1971, when Richard Nixon was president and the Vietnam War was not even close to being over.
