Beginner and student Guitarists. First Act introduced higher-priced models in the last year or two. Unfortunately, in my opinion, they still look and feel quite cheap, as cheap as their student models. It is telling that non-music stores such as Best Buy, Target and Toys 'R' Us carry First Act Guitars; most instrument stores do not.

First Act guitars are a cheap alternative for beginners just starting out playing guitar. They can be found online for very cheap, or can be picked up in any major franchise that sells guitars, such as Guitar center.

Try a Washburn or similar inexpensive guitar. Or try a pawn shop for something cheap and basic. Avoid toy guitars, no-name guitars, or ones marketed to kids (like First Act).
