There are a couple reasons. at Trevor McNevan - the lead singer of Thousand Foot Krutch - worked at McDonald's with the members of Three Days Grace to pay for studio time, so they are pretty good friends. They are also from the same metropolitan area in Canada, and you could say they kind of grew up together. And still another reason is the the drummer for Three Days Grace, Neil Sanderson, is McNevan's cousin.
