They are forming a picture based on sound waves arriving from a target in space, not an actual visual picture. They work better for determining what types of radiation is being emitted by the extraterrestrial object and conclusions can be made about it's makeup based on past data collected Check out the link provided for more information. Answer
Resolution on a telescope is determined by the wavelength of the light they use. The smaller the wavelength the better the resolution. The wavelength of radio waves can vary from a couple of metres to several kilometers long, so they do not give a clear image. Also they are forming a picture based on radio waves coming from a target many lightyears away, so there is often a big margin of error.
Cost of batteries for poorer students.
Little round wire-rims called "granny glasses". No they are not "granny " glasses. They ARE called "Englishman working glasses".....it was the poorer working class that wore these glasses.........
The saxophone was originally popular in chamber music, because it was so easy to learn. When the fad died out, dozens of instruments were taken to resale shops and pawnbrokers, where they were purchased by people who couldn't afford more expensive instruments or lessons. The poorer classes identified with blues and other roots music, which evolved into jazz.
I believe the bandwidth of ANY signal is defined as the range of frequencies that encompasses 99% of the signal's power. For an AM signal at anything less than 100% modulation, it's 2 x the highest modulating frequency. FM signals aren't that simple to characterize. "Cramer's Rule" says that the bandwidth is 2 x (peak deviation + highest modulating frequency), but as the 'modulation index' increases, that rule becomes a poorer approximation.
It was the defeat of Argentina over the Falkland Islands that made Margaret Thatcher popular. As we must remember that England was far away from Argentina, and they thought it would be difficult for England to send their navy and the R.A.F there. But England proved them wrong.
Yes, that's correct. The longer wavelengths of radio waves mean that radio telescopes have poorer angular resolution compared to optical telescopes. This is because resolving power is inversely proportional to the wavelength of the electromagnetic waves being observed.
Not necessarily.
1080p is the resolution that should be used for a proector, because 720p in a prjojector would produce poorer image quality in a large size and would be overpriced as compared to 720p television.
If the angle of incidence is great enough, no reflective coating is needed on either the front or rear surface, because Total Internal Reflection takes place. See the related link for more details. Telescope mirror are coated with aluminum or silver on the front surface and not the back, to avoid refraction within the glass or other material, and to allow the optical qualities of the interior of the reflector support, to be much poorer than that of optical glass.
poorer The rich are getting richer and the poor poorer.
poorer, poorest

Cities become poorer
Among one of many differences is that Landsat is Polar-orbiting while GOES is geostationary. This also means that GOES is much further above the surface, so the resolution is poorer.
