There are a few reasons this could happen. One being that the temp sensor is not telling the fan to turn on. Another could be the fan itself is defective.Another could be the fan relay or the wiring to the fan. If someone has recently been under your hood they may have inadvertantly disturbed the connection at the plug where the fan connects. Have the fan itself tested before getting all complictaed. It could be a simple problem.

On a 1974 Pontiac LeMans with a 350ci 2-barrel engine, the fuel line connects to the fuel pump located on the engine block, typically mounted on the driver's side. The water pump, which is also mounted on the front of the engine, connects to the radiator via a hose for coolant circulation. Ensure that both connections are secure and free from leaks for optimal engine performance.
