There are a few reasons this could happen. One being that the temp sensor is not telling the fan to turn on. Another could be the fan itself is defective.Another could be the fan relay or the wiring to the fan. If someone has recently been under your hood they may have inadvertantly disturbed the connection at the plug where the fan connects. Have the fan itself tested before getting all complictaed. It could be a simple problem.

The Pontiac LeMans was originally manufactured in 1962. In 1961 the name LeMans was added to the Pontiac Tempest as a top of the line trim package, being called the Tempest LeMans. But it wasn't until 1962 that the LeMans was a vehicle , not just a trim package.
If you are asking if a small block chevy V8 flywheel (most common engine in a 1967 Camaro) will work on a Pontiac V8 (most common engine in a lemans), the answer is no.
I have a 1991 LeMans, all I had to do was go to Autozone.
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating coolant? System airbound? Defective radiator cap? Radiator plugged or restricted?
The Pontiac LeMans would be my choice. It is slightly larger and more luxurious. The Pontiac engine was also a better engine than the Chevy.
Try a engine reconditioning shop where they sell rebuilt engines, look in the yellow pages in your area.
