No, a sump pump should be its own circuit and although it's not code, you should also have your freezer on it's own circuit. If they were on the same circuit it would most likely trip the breaker or blow the fuse. This could result in a wet basement and the food in the freezer thawing out!

It is not usually a good idea to plug two freezers into the same circuit. The total starting load of a freezer is close to the maximum load that is acceptable for a 15 amp circuit. This is why in new installations a freezer is wired to operate from a dedicated circuit. Two freezers will operate on the same circuit if the starting and stopping do not coincide with each other. The problem will come into effect if there is a small power failure and both freezers come on together when the power comes back on. The breaker may trip. If the freezers do not have a temperature alarm, the problem might not be noticed for a couple of days. Being on holidays and have this scenario happens would surely be annoying as the food loss could be substantial. Bottom line one freezer one circuit, preferable dedicated to the freezer.

Will a circuit breaker function the same if supply and loads are reversed?

Yes, a circuit breaker will function the same if supply and loads are reversed. This is the way that some sub panels are fed instead of a main disconnect at the top of the distribution panel.

Who is sub-zero?

It means below zero and is also a type of frig/freezer.

you must put it in the freezer to reveal the code!

Is the main circuit breaker is a sum of the sub circuit breaker?

Typically yes because that is what makes sense. However, the subpanel could have the same size breaker as long as the panel were rated for that amperage and the wire sizes were appropriate.

Choose true or falseIf all the resistors in a parallel sub-circuit have the same value the total current can be found by multiplying the current by the number of resistors?
