I am sick of these "technical responses" they are as cheap and fake as plastic!

No, it is not likely for scientist to artificially regrow teeth (actually, they're beginning to now..) so that dentist can charge you your left arm just for a small chip or layer of veneers, bonding, or whatever else they tend to offer. Don't always believe what the so-called "professionals" have to say. They're job is to be technical and be paid from what they read in the old 'text books' of outdated science.

The body is capable of producing all kinds of healing chemacles. Yes, it can regrow gum and it can actually produce teeth enamel. Of course, this has long been neglected but now is being accepted as even as scientific fact! Google it, Orthadontist are coming to realize that they themselves do not posses the tools of growing/healing teeth/gum ... but the patient does, on his own!

There are many ways with which this is being accomplish. The body is "fooled" into creating more of what it lacks in order to compensate for it's loss. But in a body that is constantly stressed, frustrated, worn out, weary, etc.. it's not likely to replenish something that big when it can't even replenish it's own sanity/strength/logic/peace/relaxation etc. (Also, a lot of stress releases acid into the saliva... causing yet more harm to the teeth!)

One Suheyla Pekiner posted;

"Buddhist monks seem to regrow whole sets of teeth after years of purifying and meditation according to some books. Some healers have the ability to change silver fillings to gold--but so what. Scientists grow new teeth on a mouse's kidney using genetic techniques but to transfer this to humans may take 10-20 years. Finally, a 104 year old woman regrew 4 teeth and this was documented recently and on the newswires!"

Just keep doing research, and don't give up! Simply refuse to.

Either way, I apologize for the long response.. I just get so upset when I see others experience the same disappointments I did whenever I sought for hope and got shot down by some "technical" response who couldn't care less about my teeth or even doing the research or sharing the "Hope.." adding to the cruel darkness of this world!

No matter. Here are some of the things I used despite my teeth losing patches of it's enamel (on my front teeth, making them look greyish, yikes!!) and also my gums were suffering so severly that they were "loose.."

OraMD is an excellent recommendation on my part (for gums in bad condition, that is). Just try it a month or two, no result? Get your money back. I started seeing results within a month, but who knows, maybe we're all built differently, no?

As for the whole enamel thing, I purchased this book (here, I'll even give you the Amazon link so that you can see the amazing reviews and miracle stories it's gotten http://www.Amazon.com/Cure-Tooth-Decay-Cavities-Nutrition/dp/0982021305/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t (the results should astound you! Though of course, it's 95% affective but the results are rather swift. :))

it only has a 2 star out of 36 reviews, but that's just a guy challenging the author's technical theories.. not because he didn't see results. lol.

Good luck, I hope this has helped!

P.s. I once read a blog about a woman who was told she was to lose her teeth by the age of 35 from some "technical dentist"... she was in her mid forties when she was creating the blog.. explaining how dentist can't know your body the way you do.. so she defied the odds by trying natural methods.. I think what she used involved tea-tree oil or something. Either way, her teeth were great and healthy! (btw, you might find her blog online somewhere.. just look for natural ways to heal your own dental needs.)

Everyone is different, just see what works for you..

What does apatite have to do with your teeth?

Apatite is a mineral that is a major component of tooth enamel. It helps make teeth strong and resistant to decay. Consuming foods rich in calcium and phosphate can help support the remineralization of apatite in tooth enamel, promoting dental health.

Which of these tissues make up the periodontium?

The periodontium is made up of four main tissues: gingiva (gum tissue), alveolar bone (bone that surrounds and supports the teeth), cementum (outer layer of the tooth root), and periodontal ligament (connective tissue that attaches the tooth to the bone).

How are egg shells and the enamel of your teeth the same?

Both teeth and eggshells are made of stone-like minerals containing mostly calcium. Bird eggshells are made of calcium carbonate, whil dental enamel is formed from calcium phosphate. Both of these materials are classified as COMPOSITES because they are actually not pure calcium carbonate or phosphate, but also contain additional components that are softer, and allow the mineral-like crystals to bond together into a rigid structure. The precise way the composite is organized, at the microscopic level, determines whether the material is hard and resiliant (like enamel) which is resistant to cracking, or hard and brittle like eggshell that cracks much more easily. To read more about how nature uses different materials, see if you can obtain a copy of the book--- _Life's Devices_, by Steven Vogel, 1988, Princeton University press--- from a local library. Or ask one of the librarians to help you find more information on the subject if the book isn't readily available.

What is the constituent element of toothpaste?

Toothpaste typically contains abrasive agents like calcium carbonate or silica to help remove plaque and debris from teeth. How can you regain enamel?

You can regain enamel by drinking milk anf using toothpastes with high concentrates of fluorides and calcium I hope this helps Glad to help Jordan @Jordan You simply cannot regrow enamel. It is a substance, not a bone. Calcium helps make your bones stronger, and there are other sources besides milk. As for the toothpaste, you are thinking of whiteners or those products that claim they can protect your enamel. But the base line is, you cannot regrow enamel.

What is a dental organ?

What are the effects on teeth from soda?

Loss of tooth enamel which make you lose your teeth quicker so try not to drink too much.

Does soda make your teeth soft?

Anything with sugar can cause caries (decay). Sugar combines with bacteria in your mouth and saliva and becomes acidic. It causes enamel loss and decay. Sugar is the leading cause of tooth decay. In addition, the carbonation in such beverages can wear away tooth enamel.

What ingredients in soda is bad for your teeth?

typically sugar, which is known to form acidic bacteria harmful to enamel. More seriously though is cocacola and pepsi cola which contain phosphoric acid. Soft drinks can contain different substances that harm your teeth. Sugars and acids play a significant role in tooth decay, and consequently in enamel destruction (the stuff a tooth is made off). Even fruit juices can cause harm when acids dissolve tooth enamel. Experts are suggesting that this acids can make tooth enamel soft and using a toothbrush straight after drinking can scratch the surface of the teeth and wear them down.

How does gaging after eating make you have tooth decay?

When you gag, this causes the teeth and gums to be touched by stomach acids. The acid causes the teeth enamel to wear away thus causing tooth decay.

What mineral is absorbed by the enamel on teeth making the enamel more resistant to acid attacks?

Fluoride is the mineral that is absorbed by the enamel on teeth, helping to make it more resistant to acid attacks. Fluoride can help prevent tooth decay by strengthening the enamel and protecting it from demineralization caused by acids produced by oral bacteria.

Is fluoride deficiency known to cause dental decay?

yes of course flouride is a material used by the body to make up tooth material the higher the flouride content the stronger the tooth (up to a level - too much flouride causes damage to teeth) thus - flouride deficiency causes teeth to be more prone to tooth decay

Can you fix enamel on teeth?

While you can never restore your tooth enamel back to its original form, you can restore some of it by the use of fluoridated mouthwash, like ACT. Fluoride catalyzes the diffusion of calcium and phosphate into the tooth surface, which in turn remineralizes the crystalline structures in a dental cavity and damaged tooth surfaces.
