Hack the PCM. Removing or changing the rev limiter value in the prom.
Yes, Rev. C.L. Franklin, father of Aretha Franklin, was arrested for drug possession in separate incidents in the 1970s and 1980s.
Simple answer is no. The way that diesel engines produce and use power is totally different to the way petrol engines produce power, the diesels power is at the bottom of the rev range as opposed to the petrol engines being at the top of the rev range. Becuse of this diesel engine gearboxes use very long gear ratios and petrol engine gearboxes use very short ratios. If you put a diesel engine onto a petrol gearbox the effect would be that in fifth gear at max revs you'll be travelling at 40mph.
No, magnetic rev counters are designed to measure engine speed using a magnetic pickup that generates electrical signals. Recalibration would likely involve adjusting the signal processing electronics rather than physical components. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance.

You would need to reprogram or replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) in order to disable the governor or rev limiter on a 1994 Mercury Topaz. This is a complicated process and may require professional assistance to ensure it is done correctly and safely. Keep in mind that removing these safety features can potentially damage the engine.
You can't but you can buy an aftermarket rev limter/cdi from several companies that raise the limit by 1000 rpms
The rev limiter is part of the rotor arm so you need to replace the rotor arm with one that has no rev limiter, but it does have it for a reason !!!! to stop you blowing the engine up
U need a cdi that has no rev limit
5800 rpm's
On obd2 the rev limiter is in the ecm and works by dropping off cylinders to maintain rev limit.
there is a rev limit setting in the ecm so you dont over rev the motor
wile in park or neutral newer cars wont rev past a certain point ,but when driving it will rev to almost redline. this is a motor safety feature the rev limiter. an aftermarket performance computer chip will at least raise the limit on the limiter, wich works by not allowing the coil pack to spark faster.witch is also the top end limiter
Yes if your in park or neutral
Its 4K RPM's.
The rev limit of a 1987 Honda TRX250X is approximately 8,000 RPM. This ATV features a four-stroke engine designed for reliability and performance, and the rev limit helps ensure optimal operation while preventing engine damage. Always consult the owner's manual or a qualified mechanic for specific details and maintenance recommendations.
the rpm right before it blows up
After I switch gears in my 98 Saturn SC2 the gear 'slips'. Why?
