The first scientist to figure out the speed of light was Ole Roemer, who observed the delays in movements of Jupiter's moons. In other words, it takes light some time to travel from Jupiter to here, and therefore to see events - or, more precisely, it takes MORE time when Jupiter is farther away, and that is what Roemer observed.
speed of light I think well it sounds right:)
i dont think there is one
well... i think that light has a fixed speed (my assumption) 299,792,458 meters per second in a vacuum. But how to calculate the speed of anything is speed = distance/ time To calculate he speed of light you need to know the refractive index (RI) of the medium through which it is travelling. As stated above light has a constant speed in a vacuum, this speed is attenuated by the refractive index of the given medium c/RI
He didn't. In 1676 a fellow named Olaf Roemer noted that the time elapsed between eclipses of Jupiter with its moons became shorter as the Earth moved closer to Jupiter and became longer as the Earth and Jupiter drew farther apart. This anomalous behavior could be accounted for by a finite speed of light. He calculated that the speed of light was something like 2.14 x 10^8 meters per second. The actual speed is closer to 3x10^8 m/s, but considering the time at which the measurements were done this is reasonable. Einstein hypothesized that the speed of light is constant for all observers.
I Think they put lots of mirrors and shone a light and timed how long it took to bounce off each mirror with a computer.
I don't think scientists have figured that out yet...sorry.
speed of light I think well it sounds right:)
Scientists can learn a large amount of information about light from rainbows.
i don`t think planets travel at the speed of light
i dont think there is one
If we are writing about the famous formula E=MC2. In this formula E stands for Energy. M stands for Mass C2 stands for the speed of Light times the speed of Light. I don't think there is a new number that equals E. Albert Einsteins famous formula has not been changed, yet.
The only way to travel at the speed of light is to not have any mass.
Light travels at the maximum speed in vacuum, which is found to be 299 729 458 meters per second. Velocity of light is a constant and it cannot be altered. Nothing in the universe can travel greater than that of light. He means nothing with mass can travel faster than the speed of light. If a particle were to have no mass or negative mass it would be able to travel greater than then the speed of light. But seeing as the only thing i can think of that has no mass is thought. Although i have read the publications of some scientists that are trying to prove that though has mass. The only place things will be able to travel faster then the speed of light will be in our minds, literally.
They don't. If such a vacuum collapse is even possible - which is not at all sure - the collapse could randomly start somewhere, and then expand either at the speed of light, or at a speed close to the speed of light.
I don't think the speed of light is carried by an energy. The light itself, however, possesses kinetic energy.
i think he could do light speed attack on sonic 2 battle
think he dosn't. and ask me wen you figured it out k think he dosn't. and ask me wen you figured it out k
