The latitude of a place usually relates to the climate type. However, water currents and wind currents can also play a significant effect. Tropical climates are not found in Europe because Europe is not located in the tropics (near the equator). Very little arid climate is found in Europe (what is is mostly semi-arid) because Europe receives plenty of rainfall, especially in the west.
The Iberian Peninsula, specifically parts of Spain and Portugal, have semi-arid climates with hot dry summers and mild, wet winters.
The region of Europe with a semi-arid climate is primarily located in the eastern part of the continent, including countries like Hungary, Romania, and parts of Slovakia and Serbia. These areas experience hot, dry summers and cold winters with limited precipitation.
The noun form of the adjective 'arid' is aridity.

I don't see how sturgeons are related to Europe's arid region; they certainly don't live in it! :)
Sturgeons are a species of fish. In Europe, thhiey are found throughout the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts as well as many rivers (Danube, Volga, etc.). I'm not sure how you can relate this species of fish to Europe's arid region, because they are not exclusive to Europe's arid region.
i don't know if it is actually arid but some country's might be hot.
There are deserts in Europe. Most are relatively small areas of semi-arid land. There are, however, no absolute deserts in Europe.
The Volga river runs through a European arid region.
