Rainbows cannot be created by anything living. It just creates after a long rain shower. When the air mixes up with the light and the moisture, It creates a rainbow! Rainbows can be found in many different places all over the world! So someday try to find a rainbow. Remember it can be found in many different places!
The colors of the rainbow—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet—are caused by sunlight being refracted, or bent, as it enters raindrops in the atmosphere. This refraction separates the different wavelengths of light, creating the distinct colors. Each color corresponds to a specific wavelength.
Because "color" is an interaction between the visible light portion of the electromagnetic spectrum and the light sensitive parts of our eyes. Our eyes have evolved 4 different receptors--one each for Red, Green and Blue and another for violet. A rainbow actually contains millions of colors, but we have evolved to categorize most of the wavelengths in the visible spectrum as one of the primary colors and their combinations.
White light is really all the colors of light, red to indigo, combined together. Running the light through a prism (including raindrops) splits those colors out separately because each light bends a little more or less than its neighboring colors when going through the prism (or raindrops).
A rainbow forms when there is water in the air and the sun reflects off of this water. When the sun shines through some rain the light from the sun is broken up into it's spectrographic colors. Normal light is invisible to us but we see the effects as light allows us to see things. The things we all see are always some color, yes black and white are colors. Why? Because light is made up of every color you can think of. When you see a red car that is because the car's paint absorbs all of the light EXCEPT the red which is reflected back to you eyes. So all the colors we see in life are just reflections of those colors while all the other colors are being absorbed by the object we are viewing. So when the sunlight shines through the rain the rain acts like a prism and filters or breaks the light into it's various individual colors that we see. Generally we see it as Roy G. Biv. or Red Orange Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Roy G. Biv is a good way to remember the colors that one sees. We call the colors the are visible from a rainbow a spectrum of colors.
Non-naturalistic colors refer to colors that do not depict objects or scenes in their true colors, as seen in real life. Artists often use non-naturalistic colors to evoke emotions, create a certain mood, or communicate abstract concepts in their work.
This is the same as if you had a light to a piece of glass..... the light is bended.
The colors of the rainbow are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet those are the colors of the rainbow in order.
Yes, those seven colors are all in the rainbow. So are all of the other colors that you or anyone else has ever seen.
Because those are the colors that the eye can see.
I think it would hardly make a difference. Please notice that the reason the rainbow is colored in the first place is not related to the color of the water, but to refraction. White light is a mix of colors; the refraction in a water drop separate those.
To me its a turtle who supports gays lesibans transexuals and bisexuals and accepts people for who they are.
well you can only use the rainbow fountain if you get a quest from the rainbow fountain faerie herself and complete it. She then tells you the next time you visit the fountain you will get your reward. you don't need to use it straight away, take your time since you can only use it once. You can choose from pretty much all the colors except-Ice, MSP, Robot, Royal, Sponge, Quiguki and Usukito get a quest from the rainbow fountain faerie is very rare so if you are lucky enough use it wiselygood luck!! :)
Those are the colors of the spectrum of sunlight. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.
Those are the only ones that people talk about, because that's the longest list of colors that a lot of people can remember. But the truth is that there are billions of colors in the rainbow. A lot of them don't even have names because there are so many. In fact, the best way to describe it is: ALL the colors are in the rainbow. If it's something your eye can detect, then it's there.
White light contains all wavelengths of colors. To make a rainbow, you need to separate those wavelengths (colors). This is accomplished by bending, or diffracting light. Different wavelengths of light are bent differently when they are passed through a transparent prism. When they are bent diffrently, they start to separate from one another and become visible to the eye as different colors.
rainbow stripes, or red, yellow, and blue stripes. Solid colors- yellow, orange, lime green, light colors like those
