The planet is still very capable of life. I know I am still alive.

The fact that we use the planet is not the same as not making it "right" for life.

Would you prefer to live with no internet, no air conditioning, no house and no transportation?

Is there pollution? Yes.

Is it killing the planet? No.

Should we do something about it!? Of course.

The problem is that we think throwing a plastic bottle in recycling is the answer. It does almost nothing. Not using that bottle would have been better. Not buying that bottle requires real sacrifice. We don't want that.

Turning off all air conditioning. Not buying a unit. That does real good for the environment. Most politicians talk about saving the planet and fly around in private jets that puke pollution and eat fuel.

We have also managed to take away much of the attention on true environmental issues. We let them slide in favor of a false issue. Man induced Global Warming is one. Rather then fight things we can make better, we now fight something that started 6000 years before we used a drop of fossil fuel. When warming ended in 1999, so we changed the name to climate change. ( see any global data chart)

Stop worrying about things we can't change. Stop using so much and when you do use, do not use plastic. Don't waste. Don't drive for no reason. Go really natural whenever possible. Support organic food corps.

How does the moon's distance from earth impact life on earth?

How the spatial relationship between the Earth and the Sun makes the Earth a habitable planet?

The Earth is in the `habitable` zone, the right distance from the sun for life to exist in the form we are familiar with. This is because the temperature is just right for there to be liquid water on the planets surface - essential for life. If the Earth were too close, the water would boil off, too far and it would be permanently frozen.

Why is the location of the Earth important for life?

The location of Earth in our solar system allows for the presence of liquid water, which is necessary for life as we know it. Earth's distance from the sun allows for a stable climate that supports the diversity of life on our planet. Additionally, Earth's position within the habitable zone of our galaxy allows for the right conditions for life to thrive.

Which list of four factors best supports the concept that they are just right for the planet earth to support life?

Distance from the sun: Earth is at the right distance from the sun for temperatures to support liquid water. Atmosphere: Earth's atmosphere has the right balance of gases, such as oxygen and carbon dioxide, to sustain life. Tectonic activity: Plate tectonics on Earth facilitate the recycling of nutrients and regulate the climate. Magnetic field: Earth's magnetic field protects the planet from harmful solar radiation, crucial for supporting life.

Why is the earth just the right distance from the sun to support life?

The distance of Earth from the sun allows it to receive just the right amount of sunlight to support life. If it were closer, it would be too hot, and if it were farther, it would be too cold. This distance, known as the "Goldilocks zone," enables Earth to maintain a stable temperature suitable for life to thrive.
