Interneurons(also called relay neuron, association neuron, connector neuron or local circuit neuron) are multipolar neurons that connects sensory neurons to motor neurons.
An interneuron connects a motor neuron and a sensory neuron in the central nervous system and plays a crucial role in a reflex arc. When a sensory neuron detects a stimulus, it sends a signal to the interneuron, which processes the information and relays the response to the motor neuron, triggering an appropriate reaction. This rapid communication allows for quick reflexive actions without the need for conscious thought.
Between the sensory neuron and the motor neuron lies the interneuron. Interneurons communicate and process information within the central nervous system, helping to integrate and coordinate sensory inputs with appropriate motor outputs.

The relay neuron is located in the spinal cord in a reflex arc. It connects the sensory neuron to the motor neuron, allowing for the reflex response to be processed and carried out quickly without involving the brain.

Sensory Êmotor is aÊnerve cellÊ that transmit impulses from the central nervous system to muscular or glandular tissues. On the other hand a connecting neuron is a nerve cell that connects sensory and Êmotor neuron.
Motor neuron has got a motor.. but you have to peddle sensory neurons.

Essentially, it is the interneuron. The body has numerous sensory receptors. The sensory receptors are stimulated an send their signal to the central nervous system and synapse or connect with an interneuron which is the processing center. The interneuron then synapses or connects with the motor neuron which sends a message/instruction by way of the motor neuron to skeletal muscle, smooth muscle, cardiac muscles, or glands.
