Bacteria form and reproduce in most cases in warm, moist sugar and organic matter rich environments. Bacteria growth is most effective in temperatures similar to body temperature and where oxygen is present. A neutral Ph is also effective for bacteria growth.

Specific temperature, substrate condition and availability/limit of certain nutrients, presence/absence of bacteriostatic or bacteriocidal agents, specific oxygen level... different bacteria need different conditions for ideal growth (reproduction) conditions. There are thermophiles, anaerobic bacteria, etc., each requiring different conditions.

There are two factors that affect bacterial growth, both metabolic and environmental. Bacteria needs nutrients and essential metabolites in order to grow and survive.

Bacteria can reproduce extremely quickly if in the right environment. Under favorable conditions, a single bacteria can reproduce 108 bacteria in twelve hours.

How do bacteria reproduce be slowed?

Bacteria's reproduction can be slowed down by changing their favourable conditions into unfavourable conditions required for their reproduction.

No

Under what conditions do bacteria thrive and reproduce frequently by Binary fission?

Bacteria thrive and reproduce by binary fission when: 1- there is enough water 2- there is enough space for the population to grow 3- when their wastes have not accumulated 4- when their is enough oxygen in the air.

Why is yogurt incubated?

The production of yoghurt requires certain bacteria: these bacteria live and reproduce better at warm conditions. It's as simple as that!

Under what conditions do bacteria thrive and reproduce?

Bacteria require adequate nutrients and conditions to thrive and reproduce. These vary depending on the type of bacteria. For example, there are both autotrophic bacteria, that require CO2 as their carbon source, and heterotrophic bacteria, that require one or more organic molecules for their carbon source. Because of this they usually live off of autotrophs. There are also bacteria that only thrive and reproduce in extreme conditions. These extremophiles may reside in high or low pH environments, very high heat (hot springs) or low temperatures (glaciers), very salty environments and other extremes.

What is bacteria that grow and reproduce?

All bacteria grow and reproduce

Do bacteria reproduce sexual or asexual?

How many times does a bacteria cell reproduce in a day?

Over 16,000,000 daughter cells can be produced from one cell of bacteria in one day. In scientific notation, that reads as 2 to the 24th power.

What process does bacteria reproduce sexually?

no... bacteria reproduce asexually which means they reproduce by themselves usually by spitting in half

Does almost all bacteria need dryness and coolness to reproduce true or false?

Its actually the opposite that's true. The best conditions for bacteria to develop are in hot wet places.
