Answer
NO! I just did a very detailed experiment with repeats. i use 2, 4, and 8 grams of baking soda/bicarbonate soda. the results show that non of the plants grew.
Solution of baking soda is basic.
Baking soda (NaHCO3) is a base and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an acid. When the two are mixed you get a neutralization reaction resulting in the formation of water (H2O) and sodium ascorbate.
Mixing baking soda with water would create a solution of sodium bicarbonate and water, while mixing baking soda with sprite would create carbon dioxide gas due to the reaction between the baking soda and the carbonation in the soda. The reaction with sprite would fizz more due to the release of carbon dioxide gas.
is baking soda magnetic
A nonhomogeneous mixture is obtained (for solids).
The baking soda dissolves in the water
yes
you get baking soda in water, aka nothing. my mom drinks it when she feels sick i think
not much.
it dies
A homogeneous solution is obtained.
No because the chemicals in baking soda would kill the plant.
From doing my experiment there is a affect of baking soda on plants. First of all you shouldn't water any plants with baking soda because it contains chemical. If you do water a plant with baking soda you will see the plants water over flowing and also the plant is going to rot. But it is good for not growing mold on the plant. So overall you can use it for many different reason's.
The concentration increases. Eventually, all of the water will evaporate leaving dry baking soda behind.
No it is not!!!!!!
Baking soda is a solid, therefore it will not evaporate even when mixed with water. The water will evaporate and leave the baking soda behind.
Soaking a gummy in baking soda and water might cause it to expand and become softer due to the reaction between the acid in the gummy and the alkaline baking soda. This can change the texture and taste of the gummy.
