what is the engine diagnostic trouble code # 32
The coolant capacity for a 2002 Saturn SL1 is approximately 6.5 quarts (or about 6.1 liters) when including the engine and the radiator. It's essential to check the owner's manual for specific recommendations and to ensure the system is properly filled to avoid overheating issues.
The camshaft position sensor on a 1999 Saturn SL1 is typically located near the camshaft itself. It is often situated on the cylinder head or timing cover, close to where the camshaft rotates. Refer to your vehicle's specific service manual for the exact location.
In a 1993 Saturn SL1, the wire colors can vary depending on the specific component of the vehicle's electrical system. Typically, the wire colors may include red, black, white, blue, green, and yellow. It is recommended to use a wiring diagram specific to your vehicle to accurately identify the wire colors for any electrical connections.
The reason why Saturn S-Series are notorious for having false reading coolant temperature gauges is because of a design flaw. The sensor itself on the early S-Series is made out of a resin. Over time that resin after many heating and cooling cycles, it begins to absorb coolant and/or crack. Basically depending on the year of your SL1 (any S-Series for that matter), it will have a temp sensor that should be replaced. The aftermarket makers of the part have made them in such a way that they are no longer a resin tip, but instead a brass tip. This design is less susceptible to failure and is superior. F.Y.I 1) 1991-1995 S-Series have two sensors. They are located on the drivers side of the cylinder head below the radiator hose. On the 1991-1995 the sensor which gives information to the gauge in the instrument cluster is the sensor closest to the front of the car (it will have a 1-wire connection). On 1996 and up S-Series, there is just one sensor and it handles the duty of sending the computer a signal as well as the instrument cluster.

Yes it will.
My son's 1999 Salvaged/total Saturn SL1 was rebuilt using many engine and body parts from 1995-1999 Saturn SL1 and SL2 cars, I believe it will work fine. I do not recommend before 1995 or 2000 or later models. I do not recommend SL2 either. I am not the expert but most of my son's engine is not 1999 SL1. Good luck!
Yes, it's inside the fuse/relay panel.
