The difference between desirable and essential is...
essential is a MUST have where as...
desirable is something someone would LIKE you to have.
For example;
in a job description it may have A-C in GSCE Maths as an essential because they are saying you MUST have this but it may say a current driving licence is an advantage which it could then say desirable next to it as they would LIKE you to have this but it is not a must
hope this helps...

The confusion between semantic and structural criteria often arises when determining the meaning or structure of a sentence. Semantic criteria focus on the meaning of words and how they combine to form sense or concepts. Structural criteria, on the other hand, examine the arrangement of words, phrases, or clauses in a sentence. It's essential to differentiate between the two to gain a comprehensive understanding of language and its components.

In an electromagnetic wave, the phase difference between the electric and magnetic fields is 90 degrees. This means that when the electric field is at its maximum value, the magnetic field is zero, and vice versa. This relationship is essential for understanding how electromagnetic waves propagate through space.
