Ah Ion sensor reads the electrical impedance of the fuel/air mixture in each cylinder and sends that reading to the ECM. When the Ecm receives the signal, it makes a judgement with relation to the duration of the spark. The Ecm will adjust the spark duration for that cylinder in an attempt to make the ion data match an optimum waveform or pattern stored in the memory. Each cylinder has its own signal and therefore each cylinder can be adjusted individually according to the wave form stored.
Na is positive ion,Cl is negative ion
the symbol of ion is base on the lemement that you are trying to fin out
The chemical formula of hydronium ion is (H3O)+.For the "oxide ion" check your spelling.
ion
The name of the Mn2+ ion is manganese(II) ion.
There are several sensors on this transmission. This question has no correct answer as there is no Transmision sensor.
I don't know. ask others . this is useless
in the exhaust manifold or before the catalic converter
It has two. They must be replaced, not cleaned.
one is front of the cat and one after the cat of the exhaust
The IAT intake air temperature sensor is located in the breather tube about 4 inches from the air filter box TWo wire plug in the tube connects to the sensor
most likely fluid low, or sensor bad
Fill your coolant to the level that it should be at. If it still comes on when the coolant is at its proper area, then it is an improper sensor. You will need to have it replaced immediately to reset the sensor.
Upgrade your gas to premium. Max air flow sensor may need a cleaning or change.
i have an 04 ion 2.2 and it does it if the fuel cap isn't tightened enough or in cold weather from both a bd ignition and a bad coolant temperature sensor...
The ion sensor on a 2001 rodeo is in a sense a camshaft, crankshaft, knock sensors and ignition module all in one sensor. It does this by reading the signal each spark plug sends to it with info like, compression, knocks, and uses those signals to determine when to send the signal back to the coil pack to spark. Its a lot of work for one sensors and relies on the spark plugs to work correctly.
stop by local parts store they should have a little ob sensor that would reset it
