Answer for countries in Europe and other world areas running a 50 Hz power supply service. 2kw = 2000w. To get the working current divide the 2000 with the rated voltage 220v = 9 Amps.
Add 10-20% for tolerances = 11A.
As you cannot buy 11A fuses easily, get the next size up = 13A fuse
A gas water heater doesn't use electricity to heat water like an electric water heater does. The electrical connection is typically for powering the ignition system or other electronic components on the gas water heater. The 30 amp breaker with 220 volts is required to safely supply power to these components.
Nobody has "240 watt mains". Perhaps you meant "240-volt mains".You would need to have a lighting or receptacle branch circuit, with over-current protection, in order to use any halogen bulb. However, if you have a 300 W bulb, it should work nicely in a 15-A or 20-A branch circuit.
To rewire a 220V water heater to 110V, you would need to change the heating element to one that is compatible with 110V. You would also need to adjust the wiring connections in the water heater to accommodate the lower voltage. It is recommended to consult a qualified electrician to ensure proper and safe rewiring of the water heater.

Did you reset the GFCI? Any outlet attached to the GFCI's load (output) will not work if the GFCI has no power/is inoperable. The water heater could have a neutral-to-ground short, a type of fault which would be not have shown up on a circuit having no GFCI. That would be a good reason to scrap the water heater if it cannot be fixed! Anyway the best advice is to call in an electrician to run a separate circuit for your water heater.Take the water heater off of that circuit! Nothing else should be on that circuit, and call a electrician to run a separate circuit for your water heater!!! 1500watts divided by 120 volts is 12.5 amps.Always be sure to switch off the breakers at the main panel before you attempt to do any work on any mains power circuit.
Portable devices that do not consume large amounts of power can be run on batteries. Some battery powered devices can also be powered by mains - running a 'battery eliminator' - to save from having to purchase batteries. Devices that consume large amounts of power are usually best powered by mains.
Because of emergency broadcasts by government departments. If you rely solely on mains-powered equipment, it may fail due to a power cut. battery-powered equipment is independent of the mains.
Your heater is powered by your heater core. Your engine coolant runs through your engine gets hot, runs through the core heats the air, then back out to radiator. You probably need to replace your heater core.
Mains electricity is typically more reliable and provides a constant power source compared to batteries, which can run out of charge. Using mains electricity can also be more cost-effective and environmentally friendly in the long run, as it avoids the need for constantly replacing disposable batteries. Additionally, devices powered by mains electricity can often deliver more consistent performance than those relying on batteries.
A laptop can be powered from the mains AC, without the battery being present. But, the laptop will lose unsaved data should the power suddenly stop - which can also happen with desktops that don't normally have a backup battery.
No, you only need gas for a gas water heater.
IT IS ELECTRICAL CHECK YOUR FUES FIRST YOU CAN FIND IT IN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL IN FUSE SECTION
Need to know what year and engine size.
It may need a heater core.

Unfortunately, if the mains are shot you probably need to have the crank turned. Just replacing the mains will not really solve any problems.
Need more info here. Not sure what a heater pump is.
