We would all die
no we wouldn't. sure some would die but what would happen is there would be tidal waves and the tides would be completely unpredictable because the moon controls the tides. Also there would probably be earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Some countries that are small or very low or not much higher than the water level of the sea! would probably be completely submerged under the wayter and the coastal parts of many countries would be flooded heavily. there would be chaos and houses and shops would be looted. supplies would start running out and it wouldn't be terribly fun! but it depends how much closer to the earth the moon gets. if its only a small distance we probably wouldn't notice too much of a difference but if it is heaps then what i just described would just be the beginning of it.
oceans would dry
If the moon were closer to Earth, high tides would be higher and occur more frequently due to increased gravitational pull. The closer proximity would enhance the moon's influence on Earth's tides, leading to more pronounced tidal variations.
If Earth moved 30 million km closer to Venus, it would disrupt the delicate gravitational balance in our solar system. The increased gravitational pull from Venus could potentially lead to unstable orbits for both planets, causing disruptions in their respective atmospheres and possibly affecting life on Earth. Ultimately, the consequences would be catastrophic.
it would get hotter. more places would get sun. global worming would be easier to happen. and places like India and other hot countries would be to hot to live in and some scientists think that if this happened England would be as hot as Spain!
the earth would be destroyed
oceans would dry
the sun moves closer to earth
It would get to hot. We would die.
If the earth got pulled in closer to the sun, or if the sun expands significantly, then the earth will get much warmer. That said, nothing like that is going to happen for a couple billion years yet.
Apparently, yes.
we will all die
it will boil the ocean and melt the trees and grass
If we moved close enough, the planets atmosphere would disintegrate and we would all die from suffocation or heat.
If Earth moved closer to the sun, temperatures would increase significantly, leading to the melting of ice caps, changes in weather patterns, and potential harm to ecosystems and biodiversity. Life as we know it would be threatened due to the extreme heat and its impacts on the environment.
If we moved close enough, the planets atmosphere would disintegrate and we would all die from suffocation or heat.
Not much, the distance between sun and earth does vary anyway.
The constellations would be the same, but The temperature would be very hot because the closer you get to the equator, the hotter the climate gets.
