Because every matter has a mass which tries to stop the matter from gaining the equal or higher velocity as light.
Anything that has any mass when it's at rest would have infinite mass at the speed of light.
The escape velocity of a black hole is equal or greater than the speed of light, so light cannot escape
the velocity of light is maximum in vacuum I.e 3*10^8 m/s. as the density of the medium increases the velocity of light decreases in the medium. so the velocity of light is less in watt than in atmosphere. the thicker the medium is the slower the electromagnetic wave, so the velocity of light will be minimum in the thickest medium.
The event horizon is the point of no return around a black hole where the escape velocity exceeds the speed of light. Light cannot escape from beyond the event horizon because the gravitational pull is so strong that even light cannot overcome it. This is why the event horizon appears to "trap" light within the black hole.
Light travels at the speed of light. There is no general velocity of light because velocity is a vector quantity, it also contains a direction and there is no preferred direction for light rays in general. Another answer: The speed of light has been calculated to be 186,000 miles per second.

NO, to see something you have to be able to intercept light reflected from that thing's surface. Black holes have an escape velocity greater than the sped of light so there is no reflected light and they cannot be seen. If they cannot be seen they cannot be pretty ... or ugly.

As velocity never exceeds the velocity of light.... so i hope a man running with the velocity of light will not be able to throw a ball with any velocity.......... we may get the maximum n minimum velocity with which that can be thrown mathematically that we may get it to be zero................
Not necessarily, but the frequencies are different.
No it justs refracts further

Anything that is not living cannot see you but you can still see them by the reflection of light
well if you are american then the lightning bug but i cannot think of anything else
