Home Depot does sometimes sell presealed Travertine but the box would usually state that. If it's not labeled as presealed and you think it is you can test it by sprinkling the stone with water if it beads up then it's sealed if it sinks in then it's not. Also try to test more than one piece as some pieces might have been sealed just for display purposes.
