A microscope isn't used for navigating/exploring the universe. A microscope is for looking at germs, viruses etc. A telescope is able to look at the sky. A microscope is used in science labs. Not use for space explorering.

What object would help us see stars and planets in your solar system more clearly?

a telescope because if you never heard of the Hubble telescope that is like the international telescope.

What would be the effect on magnification to increase the focal length of microscope and telescope?

The focal length of a telescope is directly related to the magnification in that the longer the focal length, the more magnification you get from the telsceope. How the focal length of a telescope relates to the length of the telescope itself depends on the design of the telescope. In a refracting telescope, the focal length is approximately the length of the telescope. In a reflecting telescope, the focal length is roughly two time the length of the telescope.

Can a 500mm telescope see stars?

Definitely, a 500-mm (20-inch) telescope is a large instrument because 500 mm is the diameter of the main mirror or lens, so the telescope would be 3-5 metres long. A telescope this size could see faint stars down to a magnitude of round about 15. Remember that you don't need any telescope at all to see stars. On a clear night in a dark place, you can see a few thousand of them with only your eyes.

Can a doctor use a telescope to study a patients blood?

No, that is for studying the stars, a doctor would use amicroscope.

Why was the invention of the telescope so important to science?

The telescope has allowed man kind to study the universe more in depth and accurately than possible with the naked eye. It helps map out the stars, planets, moons, and whole galaxies. You wouldn't want to pull a Lewis and Clark around the galaxy would you?

Does the simplest optical telescope contain an objective lens and a mirror?

No. If the simplest optical telescope means refractory telescope, then it would not contain a mirror at all. It would contain an objective lense pointing to the stars and an ocipital lense near your eyes.

Is it easier to observe the stars from earth or moon?

it depends on what time of year it is and which stars you want to view seeing as it is hard to get a strong telescope to the moon... i would say Earth

What do you use a microscope?

To measure pressure in the air. Meteorologists use them (weather people) a barometer is used for measuring pressure, the units for measuring pressure include atm, pascal, torr,mm of hg,bars.
