United Aircraft Products (UAP) continued to manufacture several types of aircraft heat exchangers until around 1970. I believe they sold the tooling for the muffin pans prior to 1970. They were then purchased by an aviation company named Parker Haniffn. Parker later sold the UAP devision to a British motorcycle manufacturing company named Triumph. Triumph is still manufacturing motorcycles and as I understand it they still own the UAP division that was once a manufacturer of those neet aluminum muffin pans. The UAP devision is still manufacturing heat exchangers of all types. This information comes from a very interesting 81 year old friend of mine which worked for UAP in Dayton for several years. If anyone has the need for more info on this subject Mr. Tom Lord still resides in Dayton Ohio and is listed in the book. He would be tickled to talk to someone on this subject and is a joy to speak with.
