The Fox who played dead.

or for literary effect; The Fox who played Possum.

Here is the translation of the story taken from another user and edited. It still needs some work in the first paragraph but the actual story itself of the Fox was modified more consistently.

Enjoy

One night a fox entered a henhouse. From all the time he was in there pursuing and eating hens he lost track of time. When he realized that it was already dawn and that there were people walking the streets, he quickly developed a plan to save his own life.

He went out and lay on the ground, where he remained completely motionless for people to think he was dead. Everyone knew what was going through this.

After a while, came by a man who exclaimed: "A fox

dead! The hairs on his forehead are good for curing infantile diseases.'' Then out of his bag came a pair of scissors and he started to cut off

Later came another man who said: "The hairs of the tail of the

Fox are good for curing common colds." Then he cut a little

hair of the fox's tail.

More people came to say

similar things and each time he took away more and more hair.

But the fox did not move because he had no doubt that it was better

to lose his hair than to lose his life. Finally, after a while, he

ran out of hair and was entirely bald.

Another man came and said that the nails of a fox were very good

for curing headaches. He cut a nail of the fox and he

continued playing dead.

Then along came another man who said "fox teeth are a great remedy for toothaches so people began pulling tooth after tooth from the foxes mouth but the fox still did not move.

Finally came a man who said: "The fox's heart

protects against Heart disease!" So into his sack he went and out came a knife to out the Foxes heart.

Upon hearing what the man had said, the fox realized that he was

about to lose his life if he continued playing dead. It was in that moment that he thought it was time to risk everything and he jumped up and began to run to escape and save his life.

So, Mr. Earl, you should tell your brother to take the

example of the fox.

If you think that people want to harm you it is best to try to

ignore it and suffer in silence if the damage is not severe.

But if these people are threatening to take away your honor or your

life, strip you of the What_is_the_translation_of_El_zorro_que_se_hizo_el_muertowhere you lives or the lands

you have grown, it is preferable to risk everything and fight against them!

To the count This seemed good advice. He pulled his notebook

to write down the advice and wrote the following verses:

Suffer when you can;

Fight when you can't.
