Las Mascaras de vejigante are masks made in Puerto Rico, often made out of coconut shells or paper mache. They also have many horns and the most common colors that are used on them are red and black.
The word vejigante comes from the Spanish word "vejiga" which means bladder and "gigante" meaning giant. During carnivals in Puerto Rico, vejigantes walk around carrying an inflated cow bladder on a stick and harmlessly wack people in the head with such.
