tota isn't a word but toda means all/everything

then why has my English teacher asked me to find the definition of it? ? ? confused!

tota is a word! but in a language most people have never heard,,,the Mohawk language was never written only spoken the jesuit priests are the ones who penned it in order have a written text,,,,this "spelling" is the closest they could come to to the actual sound of the word,,,,as a Mohawk woman I've said it often to my grandmother!! That is the meaning of the word and it isn't pronounce toe- ta either....and wow that's great your English teacher asked you to look that up...she must have some blood to even know or have heard it before.
