As of mid-2011 the answer is yes. A unique 1943-D bronze cent recently sold for $1.75 million.

This coin was one of a number of 1943 cents accidentally struck on bronze blanks left over from 1942. A total of between 10 and 20 are known from all 3 mints, but only one is known from Denver so it has a much higher value than those from Philadelphia or San Francisco.
