There are several cheap and effective tools to tighten broadheads. You can usually find them at any store selling Archery supplies. Using needle nose pliers will work but you have a good chance at damaging the blades or bending them which could affect the flight and accuracy. The tool is cheaper than a new blade.
Volvo have a tool to do this. I just used long nosed pliers on the lugs on the piston. You have to put pressure on using pliers whilst turning piston in an anti clockwise direction. slowly but surely it should start to decompress. I had a problem with one but used a 'G' clamp to put more pressure on.
The quickest way I know of is to use a small needle-nosed visegrip or pliers. Chevys also have a socket head plug directly under the pushrod that can be removed to tap it up. When you do get it to move up put some grease on the pushrod to hold it in place so it won't fall again. Mark
It happened to me before and i pulled the cap back out with a needle nose pliers, then put it back in place, pumped up the ball and it work fine again.

they make a tool for it that you should be able to buy at any parts store, i was able to use a pair of needle-nose pliers, open the pliers and put the tips into the notches on the inside of the caliper piston, turning clockwise will compress the piston.
remove rubber glove off back of light fitting pop out clip change bulb and put back together you will need needle pliers to pop out clip.
