in the story Romeo and Juliet what happened was when romeo thought that Juliet was dead but she wasn't she actually drank a sleeping poison that made romeo think that she was dead.when romeo saw her, he drank venom because he saw her laying on the floor. When Juliet woke up she saw romeo was really dead thenshe got his knife and killed herself.
Many readers say no, but some say yes. The Prologue at the beginning of the play the chorus remarks that Romeo and Juliet are "star-crossed" and fated to "take their lives" informs the audience that the lovers are destined to die tragically. What does surprise the readers is why did Shakespeare make Paris and Lady Montague die? Paris died because Romeo kills him, but why? Why; Romeo was suffering from fury that his beloved one was dead. Even tough Romeo tells Paris to leave and doesn't want to fight Paris insists that they do fight. Romeo was filled with fury and he was grieving. Romeo, Juliet, Paris, Tybalt, and Mercutio; all youth deaths. Lady Montague was an adult and not youth, then, why her death. Lady Montague died of a grieving heart. Her son Romeo was exiled and she would never see him ever again. Lady Montague showed kindness, devotion, and sweetness, all of which add up to the youth of deaths.
My answer to all of this is I don't know why Shakespeare did make Lady Montague die. If I was alive during his time I would have asked him this: "Why Lady Montague?"
Well, Romeo and Juliet both died by the end. So its up to you if that's a good ending or not. :)
Well, yes and no: yes, because once you read the Prologue you already know whats going to happen and no because the news from Friar Lawrence didn't get to Romeo in time.
The ending of Romeo and Juliet was a little depressing actually all though when you see the big picture it is satisfying it leaves you feeling sad and love struck in a way if that helps :)
The lyric goes "I just want you to know I want to be your Romeo. Hey, Juliet." The singer is alluding to the story of Romeo and Juliet saying that he would like to be a Romeo to her Juliet, which is to say, her lover. Apart from the fact that Romeo and Juliet are lovers, there is no connection in the lyrics with the Romeo and Juliet story. Indeed, from the attitude of the girl in the song, the song might have been more appropriately titled "Hey Rosaline"
No, they both died but Romeo committed sucide and highwayman was shot and died like a dog in the highway.
The key point of the stories of Romeo and Juliet and Tristan and Isolde is that they are tragic love stories with unhappy endings. There are many romantic stories with happy endings, but none of them are tragic love stories like Romeo and Juliet or Tristan and Isolde, or Antony and Cleopatra. (You might look at the story of Troilus and Cressida as told by Chaucer and Shakespeare. Although the ending is not happy, at least the lovers are not dead. Although maybe that's worse . . .)
What I like about Romeo and Juliet is the part where they bite their thumbs. That's what you get for asking me.
Juliet's mother would like Romeo dead.
A cereal named "Star-Crossed Crunch" could be inspired by the book Romeo and Juliet. It could feature heart-shaped oats and berry clusters to represent the love between Romeo and Juliet, and perhaps have a mixed flavor combination to symbolize the tragic ending of their story.
People often refer to themselves as being like Romeo and Juliet because they associate the story with intense love and tragic circumstances. Despite the tragic ending, the couple's love is seen as passionate and romantic, making it a romanticized symbol.

Some popular movies inspired by "Romeo and Juliet" include "West Side Story" (1961), "Romeo + Juliet" (1996), and "Gnomeo & Juliet" (2011). In terms of songs, artists like Taylor Swift ("Love Story") and The Killers ("Romeo and Juliet") have written songs inspired by the tragic love story.

That's like asking if Thomas Edison would have been as famous if he was Arthur Roger Pratt. The essence of the Romeo and Juliet story is its tragic ending--without that it is no longer Romeo and Juliet but some other story of love and feuding. There are lots and lots of such stories, just as there are lots and lots of guys as well-known as Arthur Roger Pratt. Who's he, you ask? Exactly my point.

"Love Story" by Taylor Swift is a fitting song for Romeo and Juliet as it captures the essence of young love and tragedy that defines their story. The song's lyrics draw parallels to the themes of forbidden love, sacrifice, and fate found in Shakespeare's play.
cause it is about a love that is never to be right so it makes people feel like there lucky to be loved with there right love in other words you can call Romeo and Juliet a sad story
