It depends upon whether or not you want to be lying in your bed when watching, or you have some other seating you want to use.
If you want to lie down, you will want a tilting LCD panel mounted with the center of the screen 4 to 5 feet from the floor.
If you are sitting down, you should position the panel so that the middle of the screen is at eye level
These positions may not be possible if you have dressers and other items in the room, so you should experiment by cutting out a piece of cardboard the size of the TV, and pinning it to the wall with a poster pin. Try a few different heights and positions to find the most comfortable for you.
4 feet off the ground Or at least above your toes.
Use a professionally made mounting bracket and a very good handyman or carpenter. These things are HEAVY.
It s suggested that the screen be eye height when setting down. The thing to remember is the flat screen reflects light more than the CRT TV, don't mount the screen opposite windows or other light sources, tilting might be a help.
The ideal is one that's comfortable for you to view, without having to tilt your head up or down to watch. Personally, I'd think between 36" to 48" give or take some and depending on the size of the screen.
The top of the screen should be set at eye level for the viewer.
4ft from the floor to the bottom of the tv.
4 feet off the ground Or at least above your toes.
Mount the box one to two inches above where the top of the mirror will be.
Terribly high! (or should I say horribly high)
However high it looks right!
You should hang a mirror at least 6 feet high from the floor when hanging it behind a dining room table. You don't want to hang it lower than that because it will reflect the table.
75 inches from the ground

A person should a clothes hook high enough so they can reach it. The hook should also be high enough so the clothes will not reach the floor.
Above your toes and tilted down to face you.
8 ft from the floor
At least 3 to 4 inches off the ground.
