They do, all the time, and very successfully. An old convention, going back to Shakespeare's time, suggested that the proper way to conduct a wooing was for the man to beg, plead, cajole, pretend to be sick and on the point of dying and for the woman to be cold and uncaring and only to give in under the most extreme pressure. The old Ballad Barbara Allen gives an example of this. Shakespeare was not convinced. In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is conducting a wooing of this kind with Rosaline, but forgets about her when he meets up with Juliet who is not playing the game. Juliet famously apologises in the Balcony Scene for giving in too easily. "I should have been more strange I must confess, but that thou overheardst before I was ware, my true love's passion. Therefore pardon me and not impute this yeilding to light love which the dark night hath so discovered." But Juliet does not pursue Romeo, we must turn to another play for this. In Midsummer Night's Dream Helena is mad for Demetrius who doesn't want her. She chases after him into the forest, complaining about why she should have to chase him when he should be chasing her: "Fie, Demetrius! Your wrongs do set a scandal on our sex. We cannot fight for love as men may do; we should be wooed and were not meant to woo."
Even back in the day, Shakespeare knew that women did court men and that it worked out for them. It really wasn't until the late twentieth century that people acknowledged that it was socially proper to do so.
Men should make more money then women because they support their families.
Ismene thnks that women shouldn't compete with men. She feels that men and women have separate activities and responsibilities. She concludes that women shouldn't try to become involved in or do male dominated or run activities. She therefore believes that women must respect their separate spheres of activity, and mustn't disobey the dictates of men.
"And all the men and women merely players" (As You Like It)
No women were not allowed to perform. Men were made to play women parts and dressed up as girls.
She is talking about women's rights in society and how they should be treated equally. It also talks about men and how they take women for granted; saying and doing how they please.
Men and women are to be treated exactly the same in all cases.

What good reason is there for it to be a one-way thing? Women have just as much right to express their opinions and feelings as men, and can make friends with whoever they like.
No there have been women

yes. in most courtrooms there is a dresscode. men should wear a suit & tie. the women should wear either a dress,or a skirt, with a decent blouse. both men and women should try and look as best as possible. well presentable. just to be sure ask someone in your local court,or whatever courthouse your hearing will be at, call that court at least a couple days before you are supposed to be court. they will tell you what the dress code is.
No that is what Women's lacrosse is for as a 5 year lacrosse player I do not suggest women play men's lacrosse. it's called men's lacrosse for a reason. Women's lacrosse isn't for men neither should men's be for women. Lacrosse is an extremely dangerous sport women should play with women.
Yes, men and women should be treated fairly. Girls should be treated fairly as boys are.
