Eponine, with out a doubt, On my Own and A Little Fall of Rain are two of the best songs in the entire musical!
In "Les Misérables," there isn't a character explicitly labeled as a soubrette in the traditional sense. However, the character of Eponine can be seen as embodying some soubrette qualities, as she is portrayed with charm and a lively spirit despite her tragic circumstances. Eponine's role adds complexity to the narrative, highlighting themes of unrequited love and social struggle. Overall, while not a classic soubrette, she contributes to the story's emotional depth.
I only know a few, but Eponine is Samantha Barks. Fantine is Lea Salonga (Don't know if she's still playing her) Valjean in Alfie Boe :)
Hugh Jackman-Jean Vlajean Russel Crowe-Jarvert Anne Hathaway-Fantine Amanda Seyfried-Cossete Eddie Redmayne-Marius Pontmercy Aaron Tveit-Enjorlas Samantha Barks-Eponine Helena Bonham Carter-Madame ThÉnardier Sacha Baron Cohen-ThÉnardier
Caroline Sheen will play 'Fantine', Alexia Khadime 'Eponine', Craig Mather 'Marius', Katy Secombe 'Madame Thénardier', Liam Tamne 'Enjolras' and Lisa-Anne Wood 'Cosette'. They join the previously announced Alfie Boe as 'Jean Valjean', Matt Lucas as 'Thénardier' and Hadley Fraser as 'Javert'.

Cosette. By the way, it's actually spelled "Fantine," just so you know :).
Eponine Dawn is 5' 2 1/2".
It depends on whether you're thinking from the musical or a movie that would be closer to the book. In the musical, Cosette is a soprano and Eponine is either a mezzo or an alto. Both are good parts. If you're following closer to the book, then Cosette is a better part because she gets more time. However, Eponine also has very complex emotions so it's good to play her too. It all depends on your acting and/or singing.
Eponine is a blonde, and her sister Azelma has auburnish hair.
whos elponine
Eponine is an old and outdated female first name, with no equivalent in English that I know of. It has no signification in French as a word.
sounds like a medication
Yes (:
The name Eponine means "good voice" or "well-spoken" in French. It is derived from the Greek words "eu" meaning good, and "phone" meaning voice.
In the book, Eponine tells Marius right before she dies, "And you know what Monsieur Marius? I was a little bit in love with you." (or something like that.) And in the musical, she tells him through the song "A Little Fall of Rain."
Eponine throws herself in front of the rifle to save Marius, the man she loves, from being shot during the June Rebellion in "Les Misérables." Despite knowing that her love for him is unrequited, Eponine sacrifices herself for him as a final act of love and selflessness.
Any part with Eponine. :)
