Yes, you can connect the audio of your HP Pavilion to a home theatre receiver using a 1/8" stereo (3.5 mm) to dual RCA plug y-cable. Be sure to use the line output, and connect the cable to an analog line level (CD in, Tape in, Aux in) jack.
the best ways is to get a analog audio cable. Its preaty cheap like 10-15$. I have mine connected to the the like that and works just fine hope this answers your question. :) Depending on your TV and stereo you may have digital audio inputs on your stereo and outputs (of course) on your TV: optical or coaxial. A fiber optic cable between the two being best.
Computers normally have a 3.5mm jack socket as an audio output. Most stereo systems have phono (RCA) connectors for signal inputs. To connect a laptop to a stereo system you will need a 3.5mm jack to RCA lead. They can be purchased in most electronics stores or on line. Most audio systems have a selection of inputs. If there is a choice, you can use any input that is marked "aux", "line in", "CD", "DVD", "Tape". If there is an input marked as "phono" that will be the one input that you cannot use successfully.
S-video is a video connection that uses two wires, one for black and white information (The luma signal) and one for color information (the chroma signal). It does not carry audio but S-video inputs and outputs normally have a stereo audio connection associated with them.
yes it is possible by using a high low converter. the out put where the speakers are must be converted to low output.
The purpose of an RCA cable or connector is to carry audio. It has a red connector for the right stereo channel and a white or black connector for the left stereo channel. One example of how an RCA audio cable could be used is to connect a CD player to other stereo equipment.
The wiring of a stereo is connected to the audio inputs. This is standard in a Chevy Blazer and other cars.
To record its sound, connect the left and right audio outputs to the line inputs on your M-Audio interface. Add a stereo audio track and then press record.
Yes
That would be where you connect anything with a STEREO AUDIO OUTPUT.

1080 is a video standard and has nothing to do with the audio. Connect the stereo audio outputs of the tv to the inputs of the home theater. Check the HT menu to be sure it is set for multi channel audio on the input you are using.

You sound card should have a audio in port.

Connect a audio cable from the Audio Out connectors on the cable box to the AUX In Audio connectors on the stereo receiver.
Yes it does.
Green audio out. Blue audio in. Red mic in.
