Based on the ato-Philippines history is it not worth changing the alpha chapter to university of southern Philippines instead of university of san carlos because usp is the place of ato founding?

University of Southern Philippines Foundation in Cebu City, Philippines deserves to be named the Alpha Chapter because it is the original place where Alpha Tau Omega-Philippines was born. Manuel M. Momongan, the Principal Founder and a student of University of Southern Philippines founded the name Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity with the support of his brother in the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity-Philippines of the University of San Jose Recoletos, Cebu City, Philippines. Manolito Mangubat who brought along with him 7 USJR students to be initiated at the University of Southern Philippines. Manuel M. Momongan of Cebu City and Manolito Mangubat of Medellin, Cebu should be considered the original first two Founders of Alpha Tau Omega-Philippines on August 15, 1968. The expansion process during that year was shortlived because members of the Alpha Sigma Phi in Cebu City, opposed the plan of the two founders to build the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. The two founders remained indignant and inactive with their former fraternity. For 32 long years, Manuel M. Momongan inspite of the absence of Manolito Mangubat, revived the Alpha Tau Omega with the support of another four Alpha Sigma Phi members, Roland Marigomen, Wilfredo Ursal, Raul Murillo and Jesus Flores (deceased). That is what it is today, the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity-Philippines.
