Sort of. Some sun light is good for you, but part of the sun light can damage your skin in a way that can lead to skin cancer. Avoiding the hottest part of the day and using sunscreen will help cut the risks a lot.
No. Skin cancer is caused by UV, or Ultraviolet Rays from the sun, and during a solar eclipse there is very little UV
Too much sun exposure can be very harmful to the skin. Ultra violet radiation from sun exposure is the leading cause of skin cancer.
Sure Does!
Too much radiation from the sun can permanently damage your skin and could cause skin cancer.
The UV light from the sun damages the cell and as a person ages the cell gets weaker and causes skin cancer. Because of the thinness of the ozone layer more UV light is hitting the earth. The same UV light is used in tanning beds so those are also dangerous.
you can use ultraviolet in bug zappers, identifying money, in sun beds and many others:
a form of non-ionizing radiation that is emitted by the sun and artificial sources, such as tanning beds
BY the sun
The cancer caused from tanning beds or too much sun is skin cancer.
Home tanning beds can cause cancer. They are not a safe thing to have in the home and radiation needs to be monitored.
Yes they do. Tanning beds pose a greater cancer risk than previously believed, according to the International Agency for Research on Cancer Most tanning beds use ultraviolet light, which has been confirmed to raise the risk of skin cancer. Tanning, combined with poor skin care and a lack of sun-tan lotion can definitely, in turn cause cancer. They can promte the risk of cancer,Yes.
No they can cause skin cancer! :O
Microwaved foods & sun beds
Studies have shown that tanning beds can cause skin cancer if overused.
no unproted sun does give cancer
they can but some people can get skin cancer for sitting in the sun for to long using tanning beds can give u skin cancer too.
don't go in tanning beds, stay out of the sun, and be miserable inside:)
Yes but they do pose a slightly higher cancer risk than the sun.
don't go in tanning beds, stay out of the sun, and be miserable inside:)
Most dermatologists (skin doctors) will tell you that sun (UV) exposure is cumulative, and once you hit a certain point you get skin cancer. That point is different for everybody. Light skinned, blonde, blue eyed, freckles all add risk and lower the amount of acceptable accumulation. i think tanning by the sun can not cause skin cancer but tanning beds can because the sun gives you vitamin D
