I'm not sure what your asking but i will give it a try. When you put your foot down on the pedal of a newer car it sends a signal to the computer that changes the timing and the amount of fuel that is injected per stroke of the piston. When in an older car that is cable driven instead of the newer wire driven I'm not sure.

What car control causes a change in velocity?

The gas pedal, the brake pedal, and the steering wheel all do.

When the gas pedal is pushed what force causes the change in velocity?

When the gas pedal is pushed, the engine generates power which is transferred to the wheels, causing them to rotate. The force of friction between the tires and the road surface allows the vehicle to accelerate and change velocity.

What control causes a change in velocity?

The gas pedal, the brake pedal, and the steering wheel all do.

How do you change velocity in a car?

To increase velocity in a car, you can press the accelerator pedal to increase the speed. Conversely, to decrease velocity, you can either release the accelerator pedal to slow down gradually or apply the brakes to rapidly reduce speed. Maintaining a safe and controlled speed is essential for safe driving.

What are two of the ways that the velocity of a car can change?

The velocity of a car can change by increasing its speed, such as accelerating when pressing the gas pedal, or by decreasing its speed, such as decelerating when applying the brakes.

What causes vibration through the staring column that stops when the brake pedal is pushed?

normally loose brake pads or discs

What causes the brake light to come on 2000chevy blazer?

Usually in every vehicle the brake lights come on when the brake pedal is pushed in. There is a switch connected to the pedal in some way to make the light switch on.

How do you safely change a car's velocity?

Slowly press on the accelerator to go more quickly. Slowly press down on the brake pedal to go more slowly. These two operations can safely change a car's velocity.

What pedal in the car is pushed to make the car go faster?

The pedal in the car you push to go faster is the accelerator pedal.

What control on a car can cause a change in velocity at constant speed?

The steering wheel can change the car's direction of motion, without changing speed.

How can you change the velocity of a bicycle?

At any instant change the direction of path. Consider the case you are cycling in a straight line with constant speed if you change the direction of your path but continues at constant speed then there will be change in velocity it does not depend upon your speed. Pedal faster. Well if you continues in same direction and increase your speed. Then velocity will also increase. A large number of cases exist for the asked question. I hope that helped.

If I pushed on the gas pedal for 4 seconds and changed the velocity by 9 m per s how do I calculate the acceleration.?

Acceleration can be calculated using the formula: acceleration = change in velocity / time taken. In this case, the change in velocity is 9 m/s and the time taken is 4 seconds. Therefore, the acceleration would be 9 m/s divided by 4 seconds, which equals 2.25 m/s^2.
