the usa stoped using nuclear engery for the fact that it is far to dangerous. a exsample could be the chernoble insadent where a nuclear power plant went off. the area is still radioactive to this day. this in just my theary on it but that could be the most likely resion we dont use it any more.
Several countries utilize nuclear power more than the US, including France, which relies heavily on nuclear energy for electricity generation. Countries such as China and Russia also have significant nuclear power programs. However, there are also countries that utilize nuclear power less than the US, such as Germany and Japan, which have reduced their reliance on nuclear energy in recent years.
Electricity from nuclear power plants is generated using the heat produced by nuclear reactions, which is the same form of energy used in other power plants but the process of generation is different. This does not make electricity from nuclear power more powerful or radioactive compared to electricity from other sources; the radioactivity of electricity is not influenced by the source of generation.
Nuclear energy is favored in countries with limited energy resources because it provides a stable and consistent source of power that is not dependent on imports. Additionally, nuclear power plants have high energy density and can produce large amounts of electricity in a relatively small space, making them attractive for countries with limited land availability. Lastly, nuclear power can help reduce dependence on fossil fuels and decrease greenhouse gas emissions, which is especially important for countries looking to meet sustainability goals.
Nuclear energy makes up 80% of France's energy intake. The USA has over 100 power plants and many countries are building more nuclear power plants (like India and China.) Poland is starting on Nuclear energy in 2020.
A nuclear exchange refers to a situation where two or more countries or parties engage in a conflict by using nuclear weapons against each other. It describes the scenario where nuclear weapons are detonated, leading to catastrophic destruction and loss of life.
France produces about 80% of its electricity by nuclear plants, but this is an exception in Europe, most countries with nuclear plants have about 20%, as in the USA. Not sure about Japan, but nuclear appeals there I think because they have little fossil fuels in the country. See www.world-nuclear.org for a more detailed survey.
There are 31 countries that have nuclear power. There are 15 countries that plan to have it in the not too distant future. See the Related Link below for more information.
The United States uses more nuclear power than any other country, around 20 percent of the power in the United States is created via nuclear power. Other countries that use nuclear power include France, Russia, and Japan. These countries all create more energy via nuclear power percentage wise, however none create nearly as many total Kilowatt hours as the United States.

Both. In 2007, France's power generation was 78% nuclear. At the same time, the US generation was only 19% nuclear. Japan's was 28% nuclear. Brazil's was only 3%. These numbers are from the Int'l Atomic Energy Assoc.
Obama is trying to destroy America by bringing the power of America down to the power of other weaker countries. Also he believes that America should not have more Nuclear Weapons then other Countries so he gets rid of them.
The following countries get more than half their electricity from nuclear power: France - 76.2% Slovakia - 56.4% Belgium - 53.8% The Ukraine comes close to half, with 47.4%.
The two main nuclear powers are Russia & US by at least an order of magnitude above other countries. Russia currently has slightly more weapons.
Thirty countries of the world currently operate nuclear power stations.See the related Wikipedia link listed below for more information:
In the US there are 104 operating reactors. See www.nrc.gov for more information. Other countries with substantial nuclear power include France, Germany, UK, Canada, Russia, S Korea, Japan.
To protect the country that made them or most countries use it to gain more protection of other contries or to threaten other countries. :)
Some of the various types of energy that are considered reliable sources in more developed countries are wind power, nuclear power and hyroelectric power.
