There could be several reasons why the blower only works some of the time. It could be a faulty blower motor, a problem with the blower motor resistor, a malfunctioning switch or control module, or an issue with the electrical connections or wiring. It's best to have a professional diagnose and fix the problem to ensure the blower works consistently.
It could be due to a faulty resistor in the blower motor circuit. The resistor regulates the speed of the blower motor, and if it malfunctions, the high speed setting may not work properly. It would be best to have a mechanic inspect and replace the resistor if necessary.
The blower motor resistor module is ruined and need replacement. It can be found from below and behind the glove box. Tt may be hard to see, follow the wires to connection that is mounted to the blower unit by two small hex-head screws. I removed the glove box so I could access it easier than trying to go from the bottom in a confined position.
The formula that relates work and power is: Power = Work / Time. Power is the rate at which work is done, which is the amount of work done divided by the time it takes to do that work.
No, work is only done if the force causes the object to move in the direction of the force. If the force is exerted but the object does not move, no work is done. Work is calculated as force multiplied by the distance the object moves in the direction of the force.
Work can be calculated by multiplying power by time. The formula is: Work = power × time. This equation is derived from the definition of power, which is the rate at which work is done over time.
Just had the same problem. First my blower motor would onlywork on "high", and then it started to change speeds and shut off by itself. Replace the resistor mounted in front of the blower motor. It costs about 40.00 at a dealer.
Your blower switch sensor is out. Replace it!Then all the speeds will work
Probably the blower motor resistor, check blower motor at the same time
either the blower control switch or the blower motoer needs replacing
You most likely will have a bad blower resister........
truck blower only work on high
A blower motor that only works on high is normally caused by a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. DRL, do not have a clue.
from what i have read it is the blower motor resistor it goes bad and only lets the fan run on high google blower motor resistor and read on
blower motor resistor needs to be replaced
it's a problem with the blower motor resistor,
faulty blower motor resistor
AnswerIf none of the speeds work check fuses and the power at the blower motor. Since blower motors work most of the time, the blower motors do burn out. If it works on high speed only, then the blower resistor behind the glove box is possibly bad. MarkCheck the ground to the motor. Best thing to do is ground the motor and see if it works. I have seen this problem before and putting a different ground on it fixed it.
