you might want to change your filter and clean your coils and make sure you have enough freon in your unit, if that don't solve the problem then you have leaks in your ducts. duct repair usually costs about 2 to 3 hundred dollars but check your local power company and ask if they have an energy efficient program that'll pay for half that cost. mine did.

The vacumn line is usually on the engine side of the firewall. It is a very small plastic tube comming out of the middle of the firewall at the top and it connects to a junction with other vacumn lines. See if any of them are disconnected.
