Kids in no circumstances should be working, because you said 'THEY ARE KIDS'. At adolescence, they should be learning for: what is work, what is the value of working etc. in the school (still not be working) until they are of age 18 (or at age 16, but with the permission of the parents/duardians)
Children from Sparta were trained brutally, and were tested in warfare. As of when they went to school, we cannot be certain. If you were referring from what hour to the next, I would assume it to be from 8-8, a full day. The typical Spartan was to be trained in war and to become a warrior by the age of 14.
Action for Healthy Kids was created in 2002.

They continued with their normal school lessons as many of their teachers were evacuated with them.
During World War II, many London children were evacuated to the countryside. When a storm came the town had to be evacuated. To create a low pressure chamber, the air is evacuated from a sturdy container.

Unfortunately some of the children who were evacuated were sent to homes where they were abused.
They didn't have any jobs because they were evacuated apart from working for the people they were staying with.
Children, especially the younger ones, were in serious danger if they weren't evacuated. There were lots of bombings in Britain and thousands of homes were destroyed. if children weren't evacuated they would be involved in bombing. kids would not be safe in the city as much as they'd be in the country where there were minimum bombs.
Children were evacuated for their safety because of the bombings near their home, they would usually be evacuated to the countryside.
