A totalitarian rule differs from a democracy primarily in its approach to power and individual freedoms. In a totalitarian regime, the government exerts complete control over all aspects of life, suppressing dissent and limiting personal freedoms, often through coercion and Propaganda. In contrast, a democracy emphasizes individual rights, pluralism, and the participation of citizens in decision-making processes, allowing for free expression and the right to challenge the government. This fundamental difference shapes the political, social, and economic structures in each system.

Constitutional Monarchy, Socialism, and a Representitive Democracy.
Despite what we are told during the substandard government education most of us have received, a republic is the form of government we have in the U.S.. The public elect representatives to make decisions for them. This differs from s Democracy because, a Democracy is essentially mob rule. In a Democracy "the people" directly make decisions, this is very often dangerous (just ask the Greeks) because after a period of time, the Public learns they can get whatever they want as long as enough of their neighbors go along with them.
