How did government develop?

so it developed from their own religion(if you cointir as government) and to Ghana which was a muslim empire to Mali also a muslim empire but it was different from Ghana. royal officials had more responsibility and more territoty,people,trade,and stuff. generals governed each province very different from ghana. ghana had a king who had to do everything like solvepeopl's complaints and gorvern the country and stuff.

Because people realized they could take control over others and legalize for themselves things that otherwise wouldn't be (fraud, plunder, kidnapping, murder). Essentially it came about because people always crave power and control and can easily convince people that they can take some responsibility off of their shoulders. Because how could we have roads without government taking our money and giving it to a private company (obviously they are a needless middleman).

Government was set up by the people to protect their rights as individuals and to keep order amongst the nation. Governments almost always turn tyrannical. Eventually they acquire too much power and start to abuse it. This is why in the United States Declaration of Independence states that when government becomes tyrannical, it is the duty of the people to overthrow it and establish a new government based on the original principles of government which is to protect the rights of individuals and establish order.
