Self-esteem is an issue everyone has, at some time in their life, struggled with. People are human and change is inevitable. Self-esteem is often dependent on outside influences. By taking some small steps, a person can eliminate the effect those outside influences have. Positive self-talk and repeating affirmations are great ways to combat people or events that tend to have a negative effect on self-esteem. It is important to be accountable for one's own feelings and realize that each person is responsible for how they feel and for taking steps to change the way they feel.
Theres lots of ways to raise your self esteem. What my aunt used to do is hang out with the lame kids to make herself feel better. It worked for her.
