Alcohol is the most commonly-abused and most dangerous substance in Western society. Other drugs are pretty bad, too. Get over the "alcohol and drugs" thing; alcohol IS a drug.

Try to talk to one of the people who are involved in your community.. Talk about how much Drugs & Alcohol are affecting our people.. INCLUDING Your family & friends that you love.. If there are "Young People" out there doing drugs & alcohol.. Tell the person that's involved of your Hometown to open up a Youth Activity.. well, that's at least what I can say. Because that will help slow down drugs & alcohol.

Because when most people drink alcohol, they aren't necessarily trying to get drunk and can exercise self-control and moderation. It is the group of people who cause DUI crashes and have addictions that give alcohol a bad name. Many people also get angry that while drugs are illegal, alcohol is legal. But, the answer is simple really. When a person does drugs, they expect or want a high, but someone who drinks alcohol isn't necessarily doing it to get drunk, which I would compare to the high of drugs.
