Jesus is God...the second person in the Holy Trinity. God in the flesh. God took on humanity 2000 years ago when He was born into this world. He came to save His people from their sins, that was His mission. He died for your sins and mine so we can live. You must accept what He has done on your behalf. You must be "Born Again". When God wants to save a person He draws that person to Himself. The Holy Spirit convicts that person of their sin and when the time is right the person repents of their sin and turns to God through faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is in attendance at that time. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to take His place on earth while He (Jesus) is in heaven. God saved my soul through Faith in Jesus Christ over 40 years ago. My live changed drastically and forever. Praise God.
Why can you be forgiven for blaspheming Jesus or God but not the holy Spirit?
From what I know you could be forgiven for anything as long as you are sincere about it. . Who would you ask for forgiveness? We receive forgiveness from God... The Bible clearly states that there is no forgiveness against blaspheming against the Holy Spirit but against God and Jesus there is forgiveness yet they are the same person. Why if they are the same person is there the different forgiveness.
