First, both Jews and Christians agree that Jews were not among those smited in the Exodus' tenth plague because of the Pascal Sacrifice.
Jews claim that God himself descended and smote the Egyptians. As there is no partition or Trinity in Judaism, God's act is inseperable from the rest of God's acts. Jesus, being wholly irrelevant to Judaism, features no role in this story.
Christians typically also ascribe this act to God the Father (or God the Father through the Angel of Death), rather than the Son since the Son was in holy communion with the Father until the time of his incarnation at conception.

There is the fast of the firstborn where firstborn males are supposed to fast the day of the eve of Passover. Once Passover starts, there is no fasting.
The Israelites held the first Seder meal. At the middle of the night, God smote the Egyptian firstborn. The Egyptians pressed the Israelites to leave the country, but, following the instruction of Moses, the Israelites stayed put and began their journey when the night had ended.
