How are judaism and Christianity in the same way?

Judaism and Islam are not the same. They are similar in that they share the same forefather Abraham- and believe in one god- after that they split 180 degrees... Key differences 1. Jews do not believe in forced conversion- If you want to be a Jew cool come on in and we'll show you how it goes, if not- no problemo- keep your religion it's cool with us! 2. In judaism All good people go to heaven- You do not need to accept Christ/Allah or any other god to go to heaven, if you are a good person Christian/muslim/buddhist etc..., you'll have a spot in the fluffy white clouds- Period. 3. Jewish woman can learn, work, decide who they marry,and wear what they want- There is the idea of modesty of course, but no one woman gets hurt if she decides to show some 'elbow' Oh yeah and western civilization- we don't mind that either- in fact we embrace it! Go modern technology! Answer: Muslims and Jews both pray more than one time everyday; Jews pray 3 times while Muslims pray 5 times, in the direction of Mecca.

The first thing that comes to mind is that Judaism, Catholics and Christians in general, plus Islam, which I think are the religions with the most followers, are monotheist, i.e., they believe in one God.

Buddhism is usually considered a philosophy, not a religion.

Hinduism is similar to Christianity in that they also have a trinity, Brahma (Creator), Shiva (Destroyer), and Vishnu (the balance between Brahma and Shiva). Nevertheless, there is also Brahman, who is from where everything (and everyone) comes from and goes back to.This religion is considered pantheist, as it has several gods.

Christians have The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

There probably are other similarities among the above religions, but a grosso modo, I hope the above is helpful.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) is sometimes considered to be more similar to Judaism than other Christian religions. Their similarities, however, are mostly found in culture rather than theology. For example, Orthodox Jews and Mormons share similar ideas about modest dressing, importance of family, and healthy living. Both Mormons and Jews worship in highly symbolic and ritualistic ways.
