How can you be a member of Islam?

To enter Islam, the first thing you should do is to say :

" la ilaha illa Allah, mohamad rasoulo Allah " لا إله إلا الله، محمد رسول الله

it means that there is no god but ALLAH, and "Mohamed" (pbuh) is his messenger.

Then you should take a shower (in a specific way, you can found that on internet), and pray to god the way our prophet (pbuh) told us (you found that aslo on internet)

After that we should learn the duties and things that we should do everyday or every week etc...

• By saying the shahada, or declaration of faith: "I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but God, and that Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is his messenger."

It is not hard at all.you just have to Recite the words of belief and then you are a Muslim(unless you don't belief contrary to what Islam teaches).After that you will slowly have to learn how to pray and how to follow the rest of the teachings of Islam.

first you should pronounce AlShehada. That means you should witness that no God except one and only one God and that prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of God. It is pronounced as :

"Ashadu an la ilaha ella Allah wa ann Muhamadan rasoulullah"

It would be advisable to study the Holy Qur'an and try to understand what Islam is. Try to understand the teachings of Islam. Pray to Almighty God to guide you to the right path. If your heart is satisfied that Islam is the true religion and genuine guidance to the right path then meet some scholar of Islam. He will teach you how to pray and how to discharge your duties as a true Muslim. The basic belief is : There is no god, but ONLY Almighty Allah Karim-having No Son, No Parents, No Partner, No Associate whatsoever. He and He alone is the creator, Sustainer, Provider, and Ruler of all worlds. He and He alone deserves worship. Then there are the beliefs in the Prophets (Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) being the last one), Angels, Holy Books, Day of Judgement etc.
