man in the lobby of the movie theater while Ammu and Rahel were watching The Sound of Music. Rahel sensed

the psychological damage caused to Estha and defends him when Ammu praises the

Lemondrink Orangedrink Man. In turn, Ammu retorts with a comment that expresses her dying love towards
